McClain Gallery is proud to present its second exhibition with Santa Fe-based artist Terran Last Gun. The exhibition, Last Gun’s largest solo presentation to date, features a new body of geometric abstractions on ledger book paper. Last Gun was recently selected by the editors of Art in America as one of 20 exciting artists to watch in New Talent 2026.

TERRAN LAST GUN (b. 1989, Montana) is a Piikani (Blackfeet) visual artist and printmaker whose work reveals fragments of time, history, and Indigenous Abstraction—an art form that has persisted for tens of thousands of years. Last Gun operates within a process of reclaiming, restoring, and reinvigorating the practice of Indigenous Abstraction, along many of his contemporaries. True to his heritage, Last Gun is creating a new Piikani art form inspired by ancient art, nature, and the cosmos.
