Born in Columbus, Ohio 1952. Currently working in Connecticut.

Ford Beckman has mounted one-person exhibitions in New York, Dusseldorf, Rome, Milan, Los Angeles, and many other international art centers. His work is found in collections of the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; the San Francisco Museum of Modem Art; the Panza Collection, Italy; the Saatchi Collection, London; the Museo Cantonale d'Arte, Lugano and many others.
